Lonely Island at Kings Theatre
Lonely Island was like my favorite thing my senior year of high school. Of course, they were all too busy being actors to ever tour, until now. They just played the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.
The venue was all seated, but everyone stood up during the show. It was a weird combo of concert and comedy show, as is to be expected with Lonely Island. The opener was a comedian, but I don’t remember his name. Whoops.
Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Rosa on Brooklyn-99 with Andy Samberg, introduced them, which was really awesome.
“If anyone wants to fuck me, I’ll be at the Honey Baked Ham on Fulton and Flatbush. Bad bitches only, God bless.”
It was soooo amazing finally seeing these songs live after a DECADE.
The graphics were AMAZING, and I was laughing so hard my face hurt. So so so good.

The lines at the merch table were SUPER long, so I didn’t bother waiting. I found Michelle after the show and we walked to the train together. Literally everyone on our train home came from the show, and everyone was talking and laughing about it. It was amazing.
