Today’s guest Mike Felumlee is the drummer of the Smoking Popes, drummed for a period with Alkaline Trio, and he produces a show from his basement studio in Illinois called Live From the Rock Room. Today, he and Shawn talk about a collaboration for his band Bigger Empty. Mike also mentions his favorite song of 2016 by Dead to Me, and one of his all-time favorite records “Head trip in Every Key” by Superdrag, that producer Jerry Finn recorded right after doing the Smoking Popes’ “Destination Failure” album back in the 90’s.
